Twentieth century comforts have been carefully and lovingly blended with 19th century grandeur at this majestic hotel. A host of international culinary awards testify to the standard of the cuisine be it a la carte in Clouds restaurant, or traditional Irish fayre and beverages in Souths Bar. In great demand for personal celebrations large and small, the magnificent Ballroom accommodates 260 patrons and provides a wide choice of luncheon and banquet dinners for stylish entertaining. There is secure car parking offered close to the hotel at an additional charge. Anticipating Cork becoming town of Culture in 2005, we have timed our renovations to be inclusive for this privileged event. We are currently extending our bedroom capacity to 120 rooms, which will include 20 executive suites. The restaurant will be totally refurbished and will retail most of its original charm while bringing a very contemporary up to date feel to the dining experience. The function rooms will as well have a more up to date design and will feature the most up to-date technology. There will be 5 function rooms offered for conferences, meetings and trade shows. Lafayettes our Parisian style coffee shop is a fabulous meeting place both for patrons and the public. It has a superb menu providing both savoury and desserts.
