Hotel Description
The Hotel Taschenbergpalais is one of Dresden's most striking buildings, situated at the middle of Dresden's old town, a few few minutes from Zwinger, Theatre Square and the Semper Opera House providing superb dining, leisure, business and conference facilities. Built in the early 18th Century near August the Strong for his mistress, Countess Anna Constanze von Cosel, it was destroyed during World War II. Between 1993 and 1995 the palace was carefully reconstructed and many original features, which includes the stuccowork, baroque walls and staircases, the Cellar and fountains were faithfully preserved. The Hotel Taschenbergpalais finally reopened in grand style 1995.

Generous room optically separated in sleeping and living room area, located to the side street, the courtyard or with a view to the historical theatre square. Most of the suites are furnished with red elm wood and royal blue fabrics; some in a modern style with red fabrics and black-and-white designs, all bathrooms are in black granite. * B1D, B1K, B2T Most of the Superior Palais rooms offer views of a quiet side street or of our architectural beautiful inner courtyard. Each room is furnished with red elm wood and royal blue fabrics, black granite in the bathroom and separate shower/tub and desk (40sqm). * B1S Deluxe Crown Prince one bedroom suite - approx. 160sqm it consists of one bedroom and a large living room. The suite is adapted to 19th century style, representing a perfect harmony between the baroque and the modern interior decoration. It offers a marvelous view to the historical buildings and the theatre square. * C1D, C1K, C2T Standard Rooms are comfortable, smaller and mostly located on the 4th floor. The views of a quiet side street. Each room is furnished with red elm wood and royal blue fabric, black granite in the bathroom, desk (30sqm) * D1S Palais Suite approx. 75aqm with one king size bed. Generous suite with separate sleeping and living room area with a view to the Residence Castle. It is equipped with a comfortable sitting area and coffee table, a large bathroom with separate shower and bathtub and an additional separate guest toilet. Furnished with red elm wood and royal blue fabrics in living area and black granite in bathroom. * E1S Regent Suite approx. 70 sqm with one double bed. Generous suite with separate sleeping and living room area, located to the side street. Equipped with a comfortable three-seat sofa and coffee table, a writing desk, two TVs, a video recorder, two minibars, bathroom with separate shower and bathtub and an additional separate guest toilet. Most of the suites are furnished with red elm wood and royal blue fabrics in the living area, some in a modern style with red fabrics and black-and-white design in the living area and in the bathroom black granite. * F1S Business Suite approx. 60sqm with one double bed. Generous room with one bedroom and a conference room for up to 6 persons. The suite views the courtyard. Equipped with two TV's, a writing desk, a mini-bar, a video-recorder and a round table in the conference room, a bathroom with separate shower and bathtub and an additional separate guest toilet. Furnished in a modern style with red fabrics and black-and-white design in the living area and in the bathroom black granite.
